I'm Erin. I'm a Brand and Documentary Filmmaker and Photographer working across the digital landscape. I am a born and bred Capetonian, a lover of sports, travel, the great outdoors, sad indie artists, and almost any dog. I am driven by a constant curiosity with the world and its people, and the relentless pursuit of creating work that matters.

I operate mainly as a Freelancer, and assemble a larger team when needed, collaborating across agency, brand and production teams. 

 

I graduated from Cape Town's AAA School of Advertising with a degree in Marketing Communications. My love for Documentary Film and Photography ultimately trumped my desire to pursue a career solely in Marketing, so I created a career path that combined both. I understand a brand's "Why" and this has proven to be my greatest strength as a Creative Professional.

Over the years, I have had the privilege of working in a variety of disciplines with a diverse array of top brands, agencies and production companies in both the South African and international space. ​I have been lucky enough to have had my work take me pretty far and wide. From the snowy peaks of Norway, to the bright lights of New York City, and all across Southern Africa. ​My mission has always been to find and craft stories worth sharing for brands and people I believe in. Stories that connect, inspire and actually change behaviour. This has and continues to be the heartbeat behind my work.
