I’ve always loved England and been fascinated with the football culture that runs so deeply through it. In January and February of 2026, I travelled to England with the intention to fully immerse myself in this culture and connect with those championing the women’s game.

 

This intention led me to Beyond The Pitch - an organisation committed to putting women’s football firmly on the map; something I have always been incredibly passionate about.

Every now and then, I’m reminded just how lucky I am to be caught up in a world that sits at the intersection of sport and creativity. Little me wouldn’t believe that she’d be swinging a camera around in stadiums she’d only ever seen on tv, watching a game she’s loved since she knew what the word meant.
